Disability Sports Day Festival 2022
The Vallance Community Sports Association held their 12th annual Disability Sports Day Festival 2022 on Wednesday 8th June. Its return after missing 2 years due to COVID-19.
Over 250 participants registered on the day despite the very hot weather to take part in the multi sports activities which included Football, Cricket, Soft Tennis, Inclusive Bikes and many others.
A big thank you to all the staff and management of the schools and organisations that attended and took part.
A special mention to: - Shenneth Brereton from the Tower Hamlets Sports Development - West Ham Utd Foundation - Tim Oliver from the Soft Golf The Festival was about participation but there were some winners in the activities: Football team winners- CORE Project Football team runner’s up- APASEN (Asian Parents Association for Special Educational Needs) Football player of the day- Wobi Choudhury from the CORE Project Cricket team winners- APASEN (Asian Parents Association for Special Educational Needs) Cricket team runner’s up- Tower Project Cricket player of the day- Samantha Walker from Tower Project Golf player of the day- Thomas Boccia player of the day- Wasim
